Guitar Lessons

I teach beginner guitar and specialize in classical fingerpicking style guitar.

We will learn:

 - Fingerpicking patterns for using with chords
      - Chord embellishments 
 - Music theory
     - Notes across the fretboard
     - Intervals, chords, scales

     - Classical guitar songs
     - Spanish classical guitar songs



Combining fingerpicking and chord embellishments is very fun, as you can easily use this technique to create your own beautiful improvised music.

Along with chords/strumming, improvising fingerpicking, I also like to teach different classical style fingerpicking songs such as:
- Spanish Romance
- Leyenda
- Greensleeves
- Scarborough Fair
- Malagueña
- Country Dance
- Canario
- Blackbird

I mainly use tabs for learning but I also like to teach some basics of reading music for the guitar for songs such as:
- Mary Had a Little Lamb / Mary Lost Her Little Lamb
- Ode to Joy / Ode to Sad
- Other traditional songs (can be very pretty when played as fingerpicking within chords) in both major and minor keys
