About the Piano Lessons
Piano lessons from the author!
I will be using my own recently self-published piano songbooks during the lessons! I'm really excited about this new songbook series because it takes traditional nursery rhymes and makes them into a scary version by putting them into a minor key; or changes them into a bright and happy version by putting them into the major key. It's like a magic trick to hear how songs known since childhood can suddenly sound so much darker and scarier (or happier) by changing only one or two notes! Everyone loves these scary versions.

LEVELS:
Each song has five levels from Easy to Hard, including a 'Variation' version that has been altered slightly for a very different sound. Both the switch from major to minor (or vice versa) and the Variations are designed to help users understand how to use traditional songs to learn how to improvise and compose their own new songs in a fun new way! The new song versions have either funny lyrics opposite of the original version, or lyrics about music theory and composition designed to be catchy and get stuck in your head to ingrain important concepts.
Song Versions:
1 - Lead Sheet (Right Hand Melody only)
2 - Single Note Bassline in Left Hand
3 - Variation Version
4 - Block Chords in Left Hand
5 - Broken Chords in Left Hand
