Bring your little one for our new morning playgroups at Play/Music Sacramento with our amazing Waldorf/Montessori inspired play area! Our play area toys are chosen to help foster creativity and strengthen building skills. More information coming soon!

Toddler Creative Toys Playgroup

•    FRIDAY: Creative Playgroup  9 - 11
• INFO
  • COST: $10/hour (don't have to stay whole time)
  • Ages 1-5
  • Waldorf-inspired play area!
    • Wooden blocks 
      • Building blocks set
      • Rainbow colored blocks of many shapes and sizes
    • Wooden train tracks
    • Wooden puzzles
    • Wooden animals
    • Wooden House + Furniture (The 'dollhouse' was renamed 'the house', to encourage boys to rearrange the house furniture as well, and they do!)
    • Wooden trucks, plane, and cars
    • Colorful felt pads
    • Musical instruments
    • Much, much more!
• Parents stay and play with their children while they explore the play area. Miss Lisa will also help guide the play time.
• This is a new program starting in March 2022 so during this first month or two, it's possible there might not be a large group of kids playing yet. But no worries even if you are among the first to join - there are so many special toys that the kids love the play area just as much when they are the only one playing! 
• The biggest problem encountered at Play/Music is that kids don't want to leave! There's about one meltdown a week because of this :-P

Toddler Musical Playgroup

• MONDAY from 9 - 11
  • COST: $20
  • 60 minutes group music play + 60 minutes of freeplay
• Starting after March 2022
  • I am trying to gather a few interested parents/toddlers before starting the musical playgroup, so please let me know if you are interested to bring your little one to experiment with our many musical instruments and toys! 
  • This is a new program starting in March 2022 or after, so during the first month or two, it's possible there might not be a large group of kids playing yet. But no worries even if you are among the first to join - there are so many special toys and instruments that the kids will have a great time even they are the only one playing! Perfect time to get some really special pictures, too.
  • As this musical playgroup evolves, more and more directed group musical activities will introduced.​
  • Storytime will happen at the end of the hour with a music theme.
  • Focus on exploring new instruments, rhythm, counting, hands/fingers/dance, the Musicolor method, and more to come!
